The XXVIIIth International Congress of the International Academy of Pathology will take place in São Paulo, from October 10 to 15, 2010 at the Transamérica Hotel Conference Center :Avenida das Nações Unidas, 18591, São Paulo, website: http://www.transamerica.com.br/

 

Language

The official Congress language will be English.

Exhibition

Scientific and Commercial exhibits will take place during the Congress. Participation is open to any interested company or organization. For any information, please contact the Congress Secretariat, SOMA.

Insurance

The XXVIIIth International Congress of the International Academy of Pathology accepts no liability for any personal injury, loss or damage of property belonging or additional expenses incurred to Congress participants either during the Congress or as result of delays, strikes or any other circumstances. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.

TRANSLATION

The official language is English.
There will be no translation.

Travel and Visa

Upon request, the Congress Organizer will send you a letter of invitation to obtain a visa. Applications for a letter of invitation should be sent to the Congress Organizer before August 2010. Applications received after that date, will not be dealt with.

October tends to be sunny and the temperature usually ranges from 18°C to 22°C.

Guarulhos Airport
The Guarulhos International Airport is located in Guarulhos, 25 Kms of Sao Paulo downtown and handles all international and domestic flights.

Substitution of registered participant

Substitutions may be made at any time provided that written notification is sent to the Meeting Secretariat, SOMA, by fax (55 11) 3062 1710, accompanied by new registration form.

Cancellation

Cancellation will be accepted on the following terms:

• Written notification is required for all cancellations;
• All refunds, when due, will be made within 30 days after the end of the meeting. Bank charges and exchange rate difference will be deducted.

Refund

Until July, 2010 - 50%
After July, 2010 - no refund
